Nomad Train: From TBEX Asia to the World Nomad Games
Dates Offered
The train departs August 30
Location
Board the train in Almaty and travel together to Bishkek and later to Issyk Kul lake
Activity Description
In late August 2026, Almaty hosts TBEX Asia, the world’s largest travel creator conference. Right after, Kyrgyzstan hosts the World Nomad Games — the Olympics of nomadic culture, with 89 countries competing in horseback archery, eagle hunting, and traditional wrestling.
Nomad Train connects both events with an overnight train journey from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan with a soft landing in Bishkek, a trip to Lake Issyk-Kul, and a small group of like-minded travelers.
You don’t need to attend TBEX to join.
The train departs August 30 and is open to anyone curious about Central Asia.
