TBEX is excited to announce the expansion of our already incredible planning crew to include two TBEX Community professionals who will focus solely on improving the video content creator portion of our educational conferences. Please meet our new TBEX Conference Director – Video team members.
Christopher Lau is a full time YouTuber and content creator for over 5 years, with a strong background in business and sales. Having worked at companies like LinkedIn and Quicken Loans, he has utilized sales and business skills to successfully travel the world full time with his family.
Christopher has worked with some of the top-of-the-line award winning resorts and hospitality brands around the world, and helps brands deliver high quality content and experiences on social media. On top of that, Christopher runs a mentor program online for content creators around the world teaching them business and sales to land more projects and paid brand deals. Christopher brings immense energy to the table, and has a passion for new and exciting projects as he travels!
When asked about this new role, Christopher said, “Ever since my first TBEX, it felt like a family and I knew it wouldn’t be my last. Happy to be part of the TBEX team, to help take this conference to the next level!”
“I wanted to do this because part of TBEX’s slogan is “The Home of travel creatives” where I realized most everyone blogs and is learning how to become more creative from just my first TBEX (I was one of the only video / YouTubers there). I figured as a full time photographer and YouTuber, it would be amazing to really bring more creatives to this conference, so everyone can feed off each other and learn!”

Martin Solhaugen is a 29-year-old Filmmaker, YouTuber, and Photographer from Oslo, Norway educated with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication at Hawaii Pacific University, Honolulu Hawaii. Martin has constantly been traveling the world for the past 8 years in pursuit of cultural and visual expressions. With a big heart for visual storytelling and a unique eye for detail, Martin has worked on global video projects for Tourism-boards, luxury hotels, and high-profile clients.
About his new role, Martin says, “I’m excited to bring the magic of videos to TBEX, connecting creators worldwide. Let’s turn this conference into a place where videos paint stories that cross borders and inspire everyone to explore.”

In addition to this video content creator focus, TBEX will continue to provide a myriad of educational options for every attendee from beginners to longtime travel content creators. Our top-notch sessions on SEO, Photography, Partnerships, Google Analytics and so much more will remain.
