Wichita is three hours southwest of Kansas City, two and a half hours north of Oklahoma City and six hours north of Dallas. Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport is the largest airport in the state and has nonstop service from more than 13 U.S. cities (two are seasonal) on seven major airlines.
Getting around Wichita is easy and convenient. Downtown is a quick 10-minute drive from Eisenhower National Airport and commute times across the city are some of the best in the country. Wichita offers public transportation, rental cars, taxi, limo, private car and charter bus services. Aside from flying to a state-of-the-art facility, visitors arrive at one of the most affordable airports in the country and are a quick 10-minute drive from downtown Wichita. Visitors can fly directly to Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport from 11 U.S. cities year-round and five more cities seasonally on seven major airlines including Alaska Airlines, Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and Southwest Airlines.
