Rick Southers is a lifestyle photographer and filmmaker with an emphasis on highlighting the vibrancy of the African Diaspora and their experiences. He currently calls Philadelphia (by way of Pittsburgh) but eagerly travels wherever a story needs to be told.
Rick’s unique perspective showcases the black experience near and far through vibrant color theory and eye-catching composition. Rick’s love of photography stemmed from documenting his own world travels in his early 20s. and it was his passion for visual storytelling that led him to begin capturing important moments for clients. They’re known for their own unique style that they’ve harnessed through their specialization in time lapse, hyperlapse and stop motion. Their extensive experience in travel marketing has led to numerous successful destination marketing campaigns worldwide.
Recognized as brand ambassadors for industry giants like Hotels.com, they have been sought after by global brands for their creative vision and content, serving as both content creators and a production team. Megan and Scott have also delivered presentations at prestigious industry events, including the Hilton Lifestyle corporate retreat and PRSA, offering their insights to educate fellow industry leaders.

Lauren Gay is the creator of Misadventures of an Outdoorsy Diva Blog, host/producer of the award-winning Adventure Is a Lifestyle Podcast, published photographer, speaker, consultant, on-air TV travel expert, and adventure coach. She is a monthly travel expert on CBS Great Day Live Tampa Bay. She is also a travel writer and content creator who is passionate about inspiring and empowering black women to step out of their comfort zones for new experiences in travel and adventure and embracing nature as therapy.
Lauren is also an empty nest mom and a dedicated long-time advocate for racial diversity and inclusion in outdoor recreation and adventure travel and a founding member of the Black Travel Alliance.
