Sarah Drake-Bryans is the founder and Managing Director of Silex Wines, established in 2023. Originally from the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia, Canada, Sarah built her career in London’s hospitality and wine scene, working in Michelin-starred restaurants and later with a respected UK wine importer. Her experience across both fine dining and the trade gave her a deep understanding of what makes wines resonate with consumers and professionals alike.

In 2023, she launched Silex Wines in Ireland, a company dedicated to bringing distinctive, quality-driven wines to the market. Today, Silex works with more than 150 producers, and Sarah travels extensively throughout Europe to build lasting relationships with winemakers. Known for her passion, creativity, and engaging style, she is equally adept at curating refined wine lists or leading large-scale tastings.

At TBEX Europe 2025, Sarah will conduct a portfolio tasting of wines that are particularly popular in Ireland, including selections produced in the UK.
