FAM Trips participants are selected through an application process, only a select few attendees are accepted to these trips. Each destination looks for specific criteria, this may not always be based on numbers. Please make sure you can attend a FAM Trip before you apply. Our host spend a lot of time and effort on these trips and it is expected if you apply and are accepted you will participate. FAM Trip application close on March 4th, this is a hard cut off date to apply.

We leave San Sebastian, the capital of the Gipuzkoa region and head towards the green Basque Country. Goierri, where picturesque landscapes and traditional Basque villages create a tapestry of natural beauty and quaint hamlets like Zerain and Segura reveal the timeless allure of stone houses and rolling hills, while the soothing melody of sheep bells accompanies us through pastoral scenes.

Continuing our journey, we transition to Tolosaldea, a region characterized by its rich cultural heritage and gastronomic delights. We will explore the Basque Coast including the Bay of Biscay, Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, coastal towns of Plentzia and Gorliz, regions of Urdaibai and Uribe. The Basque Coast is a haven for water enthusiasts, offering opportunities for surfing, sailing, and seaside strolls along picturesque promenades. Culinary delights punctuate our exploration.

Our adventure begins along the Basque Coast, where rugged cliffs meet the expansive Bay of Biscay. Charming coastal towns welcome us with their protected harbors, sandy beaches, and the invigorating scent of the sea. The Basque Coast is a haven for water enthusiasts, offering opportunities for surfing, sailing, and seaside strolls along picturesque promenades.

We will delve into the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, a natural wonder where lush landscapes, estuaries, and wetlands harmoniously coexist.
