Where and when is TBEX?

We hold multiple TBEX events every year. You can see the current list of TBEX events here.

How many tickets are available for sale?

Tickets to each TBEX event are limited and will vary a bit between each event based on the size of the conference center hosting us. Typically around 600 but never more than 800 tickets will be sold for any TBEX event.

What do I get with my ticket?

Your ticket includes all of our keynote sessions, all of our educational breakout sessions, access to the expo floor, morning and afternoon coffee / snack breaks, group lunches, world-class networking with your peers, the ability to meet with tourism boards and leading travel brands, speed networking appointments for qualified creators, entry to all official TBEX after hours meet ups, parties and networking events, access to our Pre-BEX day trips, access to our virtual ticket (so you can catch any of the sessions you missed during the show), and three full days of inspiration learning and fun!

Qualified creators are encouraged to apply for our Post-TBEX multi-day FAM trips.

Are tickets refundable or transferrable?

Tickets are not refundable but are transferable up to 30 days before the event takes place to any other TBEX event so if your plans change; we’ll happily switch the registration!

I’ve been creating travel content for years, what can TBEX teach me?

A LOT!! TBEX was built by pioneering travel bloggers (we just called it blogging back in the day; 2009). TBEX is a place where experienced creators come together to meet, network and learn from each other. We are proud of our educational content because it is the best there is, but you cannot underestimate how much you are going to learn in the hallways and after hours from your peers.

Most of our educational content is built for intermediate and advanced level creators.  Every hour of TBEX is packed with advanced sessions for veteran creators who are looking for cutting edge skills to take their business to the next level. We also offer advanced breakouts and in-depth workshops on monetization, SEO, Content, Social, Influencer and Email Marketing best practices, content skills including writing, podcasting, photography and video production that will keep your website and media business growing and ahead of the competition.

I am an industry professional is TBEX for me?

Definitely! If you are an industry professional who wants to learn the skills of SEO, Content, Social, Influencer and Email Marketing from experts who actually do it for a living then TBEX is the event you have been looking for. By the way, you’ll also get to network with the top bloggers and travel influencers in the world at TBEX.

Can I participate in Speed Networking?

All TBEX Creators are included in our speed networking software and can participate. Industry Professionals must be a sponsor to participate in speed networking.

Can I apply to speak at TBEX?

Absolutely, we are always looking for new speakers with expert content to offer our Creator and Industry Professional attendees. We post a call for speakers for every TBEX event and we encourage you to apply. Please know that we do not allow sales pitches or offer pay to play speaking opportunities.  Out of fairness to our sponsors, if you represent a travel brand, we will require you to be a sponsor to consider your speaker application.

How do the Pre-BEX Day Trips and Post-TBEX FAM Trips work?

All TBEX attendees are allowed to attend our half day Pre-BEX Day Trips. We offer a large selection of day trips in and around our host city’s including food, wine and beer tastings, history tours, walking, bike and bus tours, to more adventurous activities like hiking, kayaking and rock climbing. These day trips are offered by our host destinations and their local industry partners and will vary depending on the individual personality of our host cities. These day trips are assigned on a first come first serve basis.

The Post-TBEX FAM Trips are only offered to TBEX Creator attendees and there is an application process. These trips last between three and seven days. These trips will typically feature cities and attractions around the state or country where TBEX is hosted. They are typically limited to 10 people or less per trip. Our host destinations and their partners make the decision on who to invite and which applications are approved.

Will the conference be live streamed?

No but we have virtual ticket where you can view all the talks online once the event is over!

How long will the sessions be?

The keynote talked and educational break-out are about an hour long. Our In-Depth WorkShop sessions are between four and eight hours long.

Is there an expo hall? Will there be an media marketplace?

Yes, we have expo hall that features our sponsoring tourist boards, travel brands, PR firms, and tech companies.
