Second Round of Speakers for TBEX North America Fall 2022 Announced

The second round of speakers at the Fall edition of TBEX North America 2022 is a collection of 10 highly skilled professionals who will provide travel media – including tourism brands, content creators, influencers and vloggers – with constructive information, tools, and innovative strategies for success in the current travel and tourism space. TBEX’s 23rd travel bloggers conference in Lafayette, Louisiana will also provide a wealth of information for industry travel and tourism providers on how to develop an effective online presence and work effectively with content creators.

Jared Bauman is the Co Founder and CEO of 201 Creative, LLC. He is an expert in business strategy, marketing, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). He is the host of the popular Niche Pursuits podcast, which has been running for over a decade. With almost 20 years of experience in business management and digital marketing, he brings a rich background of both knowledge and experience in helping companies grow.

Jared will talk about game-changing SEO best practices for websites in 2022.

As a publicist since 2004 and a blogger since 2006, Angie Orth knows a thing or two about what brands and bloggers want from each other.

She is an award-winning content creator, recovering agency publicist, on-camera host and consultant on all things in the digital travel space. Lia will explain how to monetize your blog with affiliate marketing.

Claudia Krusch is a Brazilian native who speaks 4 different languages. She has been a content creator since 2006 and developed a large and interactive community around her Trendy Latina Brand. She is also an entrepreneur as the CEO of Social Coerce Marketing which offers coaching and social media management to individuals world wide.

She’s worked on dozens of major motion picture films & television shows; represents award-winning celebrities; has planned and executed major philanthropic events; hosted her own radio show at a 50,000-watt station and helps every level of businesses connect with the right audiences through meaningful media placements, sponsorships and ambassador partnerships. However, it’s her work with the RV industry that has been the most rewarding, helping the public experience the life-changing experience of a camping adventure.

Nat Berman never wanted a boss. Ever. Since a very young age he had a problem with authority and always wanted to do his own thing. It’s not that he didn’t like people – he loves people. He loves motivating, making people laugh, all that fun stuff. He just never wanted anyone telling me what to do. For the first 6 years of my working career he just couldn’t ignore the feeling of not wanting to work for someone.

One day he found a blogging platform and it changed his entire career and life forever.   Six months later, he quit his job and never looked back. Not once. That was back in 2007.

Nat began his journey in digital media with the creation of one website. Today, the portfolio of 9 sites reaches 6 million visitors a month and spans numerous verticals including lifestyle, entertainment, pets, home, finance, and more. To date, he’s never taken any investment capital and has never had an employee. He is also able to work only 3-4 hours a day and had a 7 figure business each of the last 5 years. Toby Dore has been a full-time University Professor in Lafayette, Louisiana for 20 years. He was born and raised in Opelousas, Louisiana only 20 miles away. He has spoken to thousands of college students, sports medicine professionals, and travelers though his University position and travel hacking seminars. He has traveled to 45 countries and extensively throughout North America backpacking style. His backpacking adventures around the word travels did not begin until I was 37 years old. For 8 years he has have been an Airbnb host and now own a short-term rental management company with 14 units in Lafayette, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans Louisiana.


Toby will explain how to an income by managing short-term rental properties remotely.

Sheila Scarborough is a speaker and trainer specializing in tourism, travel, and social media based in Texas. She is a travel writer who writes for numerous magazines, newspapers, and blogs and speaks about social media to a variety of audiences. She’s a Clarion communications award winner, an Austin American-Statesman “Texas Social Media Award” winner, and a Navy Master Training Specialist. Along with Leslie McLellan, she’s part of the Tourism Currents team, offering online and in-person training in social media marketing for tourism.
