More Great Speakers Joining TBEX Cancun Lineup

In a week full of announcements about events and activities at TBEX Cancun, we want to end the week on a high note with the announcemenet of a few more great additions to an already sterling line up of speakers.

Anne Taylor Hartzell

Anne Taylor Hartzell is a nationally recognized travel expert with a mission to inspire the #welltraveledfamily. An experienced digital marketer by trade, Anne has more than 17 years experience as a brand ambassador and strategist for companies and partners such as Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Expedia, Disney, Alaska Airlines, Bing and others. Anne is a frequent broadcast media guest expert on Q13FOX Seattle, contributor to the Expedia Viewfinder blog and has appeared on the TODAY Show, USA Today,, CN Traveler, Radio Disney and more than 30 broadcast TV outlets across the country.

Anne will be speaking in the industry track on the topic of Growth Hacking.

Christian Sullivan

As Promotions Director for Ignite Social Media, Christian is responsible for the strategy and execution of influencer marketing campaigns. Christian has been with the company for nearly six years where one of her primary responsibilities is building influencer relationships on behalf of the brands she represents. She prides herself on serving as an influencer advocate within the agency and with clients as she knows that to have a successful influencer campaign, you must create a program that gets influencers excited about participating which means connecting with influencers regularly and even inviting them to participate in the ideation stage to develop exciting multifaceted programs.

Christian will be speaking in the industry track on partnering with influencers to drive marketing objectives.

Jeremy Jones

Jeremy Jones writes for Living the Dream, a long-term travel blog that focuses on adventure, culinary, and destination specific planning topics. He has traveled to 65 countries since founding the site in 2008. His first book self-published book, The Long-Term Traveler’s Guide, was released in 2012. In his spare time, Jeremy tries to come up with novel ways to use social media to expand his audience. He now reaches just under 30,000 fans on Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest.

Jeremy will be sharing tips and ideas to grow your new social media accounts when all you’re hearing back is crickets.

Mara Gorman

Mara Gorman is a freelance writer and the author of The Family Traveler’s Handbook. Her award–winning blog The Mother of all Trips has inspired families to travel since 2008. In 2012, Mara founded the Back to Ski campaign, which focuses on using social media to get families excited about downhill skiing. She is on the board of the travel blogging fundraiser Passports With Purpose and is an advocate of using social media platforms to improve the lives of women and girls around the globe. Mara lives with her husband and two sons in Delaware.

Mara will be a co-presenter on the top of crafting compelling campaigns.

Matt Villano

Matt Villano has been a freelance writer for 18 years, and proudly never has held a full-time job. In that time, he has written for publications including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, TIME, and more. He also has created content for a variety of corporate entities ranging from Volvo and Mercedes-Benz to Anheuser-Busch, T-Mobile, and Dell (to name a few). Natalie DiScala

Natalie DiScala is a Toronto-based writer and digital editor. Currently working for TC Media, she is the Senior Web Editor for Canada’s leading decorating and design magazine, Style at Home, and manages the editorial content and strategy for the digital brand. Natalie‘s writing has appeared in a number of publications including, Canadian Living, Toronto Magazine and Microsoft Home Magazine. She also has a public relations background, having begun her career in the consumer marketing practice at international PR firm Fleishman-Hillard. She graduated from Ryerson Polytechnic University’s journalism program with a major in print journalism.

Natalie will be speaking on how Pinterest can be used as an effective tool to build traffic and expertise.

Tony Perez

Tony is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Sucuri, Inc., a leading website security company offering website owners premier website security products. With his business partner, they have been building the largest consumer focused security company dedicated to identifying the latest security threats.
