We have another keynote announcement today for TBEX Asia Pacific 2016, and we’re excited that Patricia Schultz will be our Friday closing keynote.
Patricia is the author of the NYT #1 international bestsellers 1,000 Places to See Before You Die (now with nearly 4 million copies in print and translated into 25 languages) and 1,000 Places to See in the USA and Canada Before You Die.
A veteran travel journalist with more than 30 years of experience, she has reinvented the notion of travel book as both an inspiring wish list and practical guide. She has written for BusinessWeek, Conde Nast Traveler and Travel Weekly where she is a contributing editor, and for guide books such as Frommer’s, Berlitz and American Express.
A late comer to Facebook, she now has over 4 million followers, and a monthly e-newsletter with a circulation of 70,000. She also executive-produced a Travel Channel television show based on her book, 1,000 Places To See Before You Die and speaks at various events in the USA and abroad, from museums to travel shows, enthusiastically sharing her philosophy “You can’t have a thick passport and a narrow mind.”
Her home base is New York City which she admits tops her Short List of favorite places in the world.
