Well-known transportation in Thailand, Tuk Tuk can be found throughout the country but Tuk Tuk in Phuket is different from Bangkok as it is four wheeled and can take passengers up to six people with price between 40-100 THB for a short distance.
Song Thaew or Pho-Thong are used both within towns and cities and for longer routes between towns and villages. Those within towns usually travel fixed routes for a set fare, but in some cases they are used as shared taxis for passengers traveling in roughly the same direction. Minibus or Song Thaew in Phuket has specific colors which are blue and yellow. Routing of this minibus is from Phuket town to all around the island starting from 6AM – 7PM and if you would like to stop at your destination is just ringing the bell near your seat.
