    8:00 am - 5:00 pm
    - Ride in luxury and comfort to Purple Star Winery courtesy of TC Black, Tri-Cities first premier black car service. Owner and Operator David McClain will provide a brief overview of the area, the activities they have been involved in and the story of TC Black will be discussed during the drive. Once arriving at Purple Star Winery, Owners and Winemakers Amy and Kyle will lead you in a discussion and tour of the harvest process and the steps of fermentation, from picking in the vineyard to barrel aging. Hands-on experience will be provided depending on what stage of harvest is occurring. Lunch will be provided and catered by Fast and Curryous. While they serve many traditional Indian dishes, they also developed Indian fusion dishes like their popular Tikka “Tacos”. In addition to providing fresh, healthy, and flavorful food to customers who appreciate ethnic cuisines, they also strive to make their food more approachable for many who may be reluctant to sample new cuisines. After the meal, you will be introduced to Chef/Owners Kavita and David who will talk about their journey into the vibrant Food Truck scene and events they participate in around Tri-Cities. We will finish the day with a seated sensory and analysis tasting of the different stages of wine: 1. Fermenting juice 2. Barrel aging wine 3. Current release wine 4. Library wine There will be time for Q/A and photos with all three companies. Each attendee will receive a thumb drive of press photos for use, bios, and logos of each company.
