Mark Baker was a working journalist for years (including editor and correspondent of The Economist Group, business editor of The Prague Post, editor and correspondent of Bloomberg News and deputy managing editor of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty) before making the leap to travel writing in 2006. Since then, he’s authored 30 guidebooks and dozens of travel articles on Central Europe. He brings a journalist’s eye to the blogging community, and thinks too many bloggers simply don’t know enough about the destinations they cover. His presentation is aimed at helping writers on the ground quickly to amass the critical knowledge they need to write credible, informative posts.
Mark, Alistair McKenzie, and Mansoureh Farahani will share their thoughts in a keynote about earning the trust of your audience.
Mark will also deliver a session that shares five attributes for successful travel writing after COVID-19.
