Transportation: Van and driver to Whitefish provided on 9/14/19. Participants will need to fly home from Glacier Park International Airport (airport code: FCA) on 9/18/19. The airport is only 11 miles from downtown Whitefish.
Description: Traveling from the southeast corner to the northwest corner of Montana, the fourth largest state in the union, participants will get a sense for Montana’s topography and the enormity of its sky. The scenic 7-hour journey across the Treasure State will be rewarded by fun-filled days based in Whitefish, a western town with a modern flair providing close access to the hanging valleys and jagged peaks of Glacier National Park. A variety of guided activities and tours will be offered to explore the beautiful surroundings by foot, road bike, mountain bike, paddle board, kayak, or horseback, while each evening will bring ultra-local dining and imbibing experiences. Other opportunities include Whitefish Lake Golf Course, the only 36-hole golf facility in the area that features all the amenities of a world-class resort course. Or jump out of a perfectly good airplane and free fall from 10,000 feet, with the area’s newest attraction, Skydive Whitefish. Unique, comfortable lodging and amenities, as well as a culinary scene that will surprise even seasoned foodies, will provide rejuvenation after each day’s adventure.
