Lloret de Mar – A day of traditions in Lloret de Mar

Lloret de Mar – A day of traditions in Lloret de Mar

Maximum number of participants: 12

A day to discover some of the most typical traditions of Lloret and Catalonia. The morning will start with an activity called “Taste of the sea with a Catalan llagut”, a traditional rowing boat. After learning how to row one, we’ll have a traditional breakfast on Santa Cristina beach, the locals’ favorite.

At midday we’ll take part in a sardana gathering where we’ll find out more about this popular Catalan dance, as well as enjoying a fabulous traditional lunch.
In the afternoon we’ll be given a guided tour of the Chapel of Santa Cristina, an 18th century building overlooking the sea and dedicated to the town’s patron saint, and of Lloret’s historical centre, discovering some of the town’s most ancient buildings.

To round off the day, we’ll attend a workshop to learn the secrets of the castellers, taking part in the building of a human tower.
