Description: Cancun continues to grow as a top culinary destination and offers guests opportunities to try some of the world’s most delicious cuisine and learn about the region’s cultural and culinary diversity. This trip will offer an assorted menu that will showcase many sides of Cancun: from succulent sea food at Isla Contoy restaurant, to traditional upscale Mexican cuisine at Ramona. Guests that choose this trip will indulge in molecular gastronomy at Benazuza and enjoy the delicious island flavors of Isla Mujeres.

 No culinary journey in Cancun would be complete without tequila and mezcal tastings! Guests on this trip will delight in different types of tequila, Mexico’s national spirit, and learn about the lesser-known mezcal. Meet at hotel lobby for transfer to Isla Mujeres

Lunch at Zama Beach Club or Captain Dulche – TBC

Both of these beach clubs offer spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea and some of the best food in Isla Mujeres. They specialize in local staples like Tikin Xic (a Yucatecan specialty of marinated fish, wrapped in banana leafs and cooked underground beneath a wood fire) and other island cuisine like pork, lion fish and calamari.

Tequila tasting at the Ritz Carlton Cancun – TBC

The Ritz-Carlton Cancun is an AAA Five Diamond Award winning hotel, home to two AAA Five Diamond Award winning restaurants. Guests will enjoy a tequila tasting led by the Ritz’ certified Tequiliere who will unveil the secrets of Tequila.
