Description: One visit to the Beskydy Mountains – and you’ll fall in love forever. Come with us to the picturesque little town of Štramberk, nestling in the hills beneath its fairytale castle; be sure to taste the local gingerbread specialties. Visit the birthplace of famous psychologist Sigmund Freud – Příbor with interactive exposition located in the Freud’s birth house. Or come to enjoy industrial heritage in the Tatra car museum in Kopřivnice. On second day, we will explore together the medieval castle in Hukvaldy and then we walk to the top of the range’s highest peak, Lysá Hora – the Queen of the Beskydy, where you can enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the mountaintops. We stay overnight at the hotel on the summit – and if you get up early enough, you’ll be able to catch the sunrise. After breakfast we walk down into the valley where you will take a golf lesson at one of the region’s finest courses. We complete the tour with a well-deserved relaxation at the fantastic Miura wellness hotel.

 

The raw beauty of the Jeseníky Mountains

Description: Discover the raw beauty of the Jeseníky Mountains with this exciting taste of great outdoors. On the way to the Jeseníky Mountains, we will stop by at the Slezská Harta water reservoir where you can experience a lot of fun during boating. The next stop will be at the medieval castle Sovinec with a guided tour. We will spend the first night at the hotel equipped with the Fun Park where you can enjoy some adrenaline activities the next day morning. Then we will visit the highest mountain spa resort in the Czech Republic, Karlova Studánka, where you can try out the local spring water. After lunch we set out on a relatively demanding hike through the Bílá Opava valley to the highest peak in the range, Praděd. The route includes ladder-climbs and tricky river bridges; however, every meter will be well worth the effort. At the summit, there is a TV transmitter – the highest building in the entire country. And our hotel for the night is the transmitter building itself. After a hearty breakfast we return to the valley and move to our next stop the Dlouhé Stráně hydro power plant, which is unique, and you’ll find out why… On the way back, you will experience the longest downhill ride on scooters in the Czech Republic!  The trip finishes with a guided tour of the Opava city – White pearl of Silesia.

 

The journey through Těšín Silesia and Beskydy Mountains

Description: Come and join us on the trip through the history of our region. Visit the Karviná chateau with its beautiful park where you can experience boating on the chateau’s lake. On our way to Frýdek-Místek we will stop by at the Archeopark where you can admire a reconstructed prehistoric settlement. We will grab the dinner at the Imrvére restaurant in Frýdlant nad Ostravicí and have some fun with a bowling game. Then we will move to our hotel in the Bílá resort from where we’ll set off for a morning trip on bicycles (possible to rent an electro bicycle, as well). It would be a sin to stay in Bílá and not to try the great tracks around. After well-deserved lunch we will move to Rožnov pod Radhoštěm where you will be able to feel the true touch of history while visiting a traditional folk village in the open-air museum. Later we will move to a stunning accommodation with spectacular views of surrounding mountains. Next morning, before we set off, you will get a chance to grab a golf lesson on the great golf course nearby. Our last point of interest on this tour will be Nový Jičín – town of hats.

Next, you will visit medieval castle Křivoklát – one of the oldest castles of Bohemian princes and kings. Description: Come and join us on our trip through Czech history and beautiful landscape of South Bohemia. We will pay a visit to a historical town of České Budějovice, where the old brewery Budweiser Budweis still brews its delicious beer. Then we will stop in the picturesque village of Holašovice which has been listed as UNESCO World Heritage. Of course, we will not miss the chateau Hluboká nad Vltavou, the jewel of neo-gothic architecture. The peak of our sightseeing tour is going to be Český Krumlov, UNESCO monument with the second biggest castle complex in the world. After hearing so many fascinating stories from the past we will proceed to the outdoorsy part of our tour. We will do some hiking in the National Park Šumava and we will also have a possibility to enjoy some sunshine on the beach of Lipno Reservoir.

Description: The Pilsen region is inseparably linked to good beer. But we will show you more than that during your stay. The itinerary includes a tour of the city of Pilsen, the Pilsner Urquell brewery tour, a tour of production and tasting of the Bohemia Sekt sparkling wine, a visit to Techmania Science Center experimental station, a visit to a military museum and a hike to the Rokycany observation tower. In the town of Plasy, you will take a look at the exposition of the National Technical Museum, have lunch at Prince’s Brewery and play miniature golf. Description: The most exciting natural environments make for perfect adventure playgrounds. And, be it a rock town in the Bohemian Paradise UNESCO Geopark, a green deep forests in the Jizera Mountains or a rural pool in the Czech countryside. On the first day we will walk through the sand stone rock town to a ruin of a 13th-century castle built on the top of a rock cliff. Than we will move to a tiny village called Malá Skála, often known as „the Pearl of Bohemian Paradise “. It is located in the valley of the Jizera River, where you will have a chance to try canoeing or riding a foot bike scooter. We will start the next day with breakfast picnic and play some fun escape games. All afternoon we will spent by exploring of water activities. We will finish the day with a beer tasting in a local brewery. The third day we will bike on a single track in the Jizera Mountain and take a walk through the forest to the Mumlava waterfall in the Giant Mountain.

Description: Let’s explore the Liberec region that blends nature and culture. Upon your arrival, you will go to see the Sychrov chateau with beautiful English gardens. Than we will move to the region’s capital city of Liberec, the former center of Czech business in the 18th century. We will spend the rest of the day exploring what nightlife Liberec has to offer. To find out more about traditional local crafts in this part of the country, you will visit the Pačinek glasswork and also the Papyrea handmade paper mill, where you will have a chance to make your own paper. Another remarkable stop will be at a magical rock castle situated on a cliff edge. The third day we will go to the Regional art gallery originally used as municipal baths. We will also visit a handmade
manufacture of glass beads and their creative workshop. The last stop of our trip will be in a lovely town of Jilemnice, which is an extraordinary example of traditional folk architecture situated in the Giant Mountain.

Description: Vysočina means The Highlands in Czech, therefore we will take you up to the mountains as well as to many interesting towns. Jihlava, our first stop is the capital in this region. Jihlava is famous for itsunderground, which we will visit during our general city tour. Also, this town is the birthplace of world famous composer Gustav Mahler whose museum cannot be missed. Next, we will explore Třebíč, a town with well-known Jewish quarter and St. Procopius Basilica, both registered in UNESCO List of World Cultural and Natural Heritage. We will see how close both Christians and Jews lived in the medieval ages in peace. Close to Třebíč is located another important town – Telč. It is another gem of the Czech architectural heritage which is listed by UNESCO. Once you enter the main square and the castle area, you will feel like in a fairytale. The wellness-resort St. Kateřina in the middle of woods is a place where you can slow down and relax. We will enjoy Pilates, Ayurveda and healthy food, clean air and a lot of movement. Last trip is going to be a hike in the mountains and visit to Geopark Vysočina where we will get to admire the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

Description: Join us on our way to the east region of the Czech Republic. We will start our adventure in the largest city of East Moravia, Zlin. During the general tour we will find out more about the city’s history, functionalist architecture which made Zlin famous and of course we will get to know closer the most famous citizen – Tomas Bata. He started not only a famous shoemaking company but also, he changed the city very much. To see more about the famous shoe brand Bata, we will go to the Museum of Shoemaking. And we will not miss the Bata skyscraper “21”, the highest building in Europe at its time. When we are done with all the stories of Zlin we will head to Kroměříž, another must see place on our list. We will take a long walk around the gardens and the castle, both registered by UNESCO World Heritage. The third place we are going to visit together is the town of Luhačovice, a spa town specializing in treatment of digestive and respiratory problems. We will admire the original architecture by Dušan Jurkovič and we will get to taste famous mineral spring Vincetka. On our last day we will go visit local distilleries to taste some of the original Czech plum brandy.

 

Introduction to Olomouc and surroundings

Description: Olomouc is sure to surprise you with its exceptional magical atmosphere. We will walk the streets of the city which has been labelled as the most beautiful city in the Czech Republic and the number one hidden gem of Europe by the Lonely Planet tourist guide. The historical center features not only the Holy Trinity Column – a UNESCO World Heritage site –  but also town hall with astronomical clock, collection of Baroque fountains, and several religious monuments. During our tour we will have a ride on Ološlap – a mobile beer bar – and in the evening see this year’s last Baroque opera performance filled with arias and richly decorated costumes as part of the Olomouc Baroque Festival. The next day we will visit a unique exhibition of the Olomouc Archdiocesan Museum – which has been awarded the prestigious European Heritage Label – and later try playing organs at the nearby St. Wenceslas Cathedral. This will be followed by visiting „Tvarůžková cukrárna“ to sample the unique local cheese desserts and pastry. The afternoon will be adrenaline filled with a paintball battle on the premises of a former Olomouc imperial fortress; while in the evening we will enjoy a gastronomic experience in restaurant Entrée, the 2018 winner of Best Restaurant in the Czech Republic. On the third day we will visit the fairy-tale like castle Bouzov, and the most beautiful cave complex in the Czech Republic – Javoříčko Caves. In the afternoon we will have a tour of Jeseníky Mountains, visit the unique handmade paper mill in Velké Losiny, have a light stroll through the untouched nature, and at the end relax in thermal spas.

Description: In East Bohemia, scenic beauties are combined with glorious history, human craft and all manners of sports. The trip will start in the main city of the region – Pardubice, where you will stay for the first night. In the morning you can try golf in the resort. In the afternoon you will taste beer from our brewery, and you will get to know something about horse breeding, which is inherently connected to with our region. The next day you can hike in the Iron Mountains, then try some sports around the water dam and in the rope park or to see a traditional open-air folk museum. The fourth day will be more about architecture where you will see the UNESCO Litomyšl Chateau and all the beauties around it. Description: The fam trip will be devoted to sports activities completed by unique modern architecture walk, and special chateaux on the Orlice River, which is nicknamed “Bohemian Loira”. The first day will be dedicated to the architecture from first half of 20th century and to the lifestyle in Hradec Králové. You will feel the amazing atmosphere of the times when Hradec Králové got the nickname Salon of the Republic with a cup of coffee on your hands. From plain landscape of Hradecko you will get to the highest mountains of Czech Republic – the Giant Mountains (Krkonoše). You will have a chance to see the Krkonoše National Park from the Krkonoše Tree Top Trail, we will do some rafting, slacklining and hit the trails. Finally, the Safari Park in Dvůr Králové, the only place in the world where the nearly extinct northern white rhinos have ever been bred, will not be missed.

The trip will start in Karlovy Vary, the biggest spa town in the region, where you will not only enjoy the spa atmosphere walking down the colonnades and tasting hot springs, but you will also visit some breathtaking James Bond Casino Royal movie locations. Moreover, we will take you to the Royal Golf Club in Mariánské Lázně where you will be given a golf lesson followed by a meal in their club. The main goal of this trip is to introduce you to the 650 years old spa tradition, get closer to understand why our region was so popular in the past among the royal families, aristocrats, composers and famous poets, and to show you how modern technological progress in incorporated into traditional spa treatments.

Note: Departure from Prague by train to a designated destination on Sunday, July 29th. Three full days of fam trip from July 30th until August 1st. Fam trip ends on August 2nd. Accommodation (2 – 4 people per room) for 4 nights, food and drinks provided (cost does not cover alcoholic beverages except for special tastings). Choose suitable clothing and footwear for walking, hiking and sports. The itinerary is subject to change. Description: If you choose this trip you will be able to experience Karlovy Vary region completely differently from what it is known for, the spa. Of course, you will have a chance to experience some traditional spa treatments and a walking tour to admire spa architecture, but the main focus of this trip is on getting out of spa towns and exploring the beautiful and wild nature. You will try mountain bike trails at Klínovec, the highest mountain of Ore mountains, you will be taken to the Hieronymus Mine, which is a cultural monument and is a unique witness of the mining culture and skills of our ancestors. Then you will enjoy a Royal experience at the Golf Club in Mariánské Lázně, which was opened in 1905 with a presence of His Majesty King Edvard VII. Afterwards, you will visit one of the movie locations of James Bond Casino Royal film, town Loket, which is situated in a meander of the river Ohře that flows around the raised place resembling bent arm – elbow, hence is the origin of the town’s name. It is one of the most famous castles in the region, in the past, it was many times visited by the Czech monarchy, it served as a prison until the second half of 20th century and nowadays you can visit a very authentic torture museum in the castle and enjoy traditional Czech cuisine in the local family brewery with a tasting of their beers.
