Killarney Day Experience

Option 1

Date & Time: October 2nd or October 3rd, 9:15 am – 3:45 pm

Maximum Number of Participants: 40

Transportation: You must get yourself to the starting point in the morning and at the end of the day you must get yourself back to your hotel.

Itinerary:

The Day will start out at Killarney House where you will sign in/register for the Tour. Killarney House has recently reopened following a €10 Million refurbishment; the house dates back to 1834 and sits at the entrance to the National Park.

After a quick meet & greet our first activity is either a Photography Workshop or a Garden Workshop with local Photographer Norman McCluskey & Colm Foley from the National Park & Wild Services. (90mins) (09.15 – 10.45)

Following your workshop of choice is a guided walking tour of Killarney. The tour will start from Killarney House and walk through the gardens of Killarney House down to Ross Castle and back to Killarney town.  (90mins) (10.45 – 12.30)

Next is a light lunch in Killarney town. Lunch is self hosted. (1hr) (12.30 – 13.30)

After lunch you will have the chance to learn a traditional Irish Dance in the Cultural Centre in Killarney Town. (1hr) (13.30 -14.30)

Our day ends in Hannigans Bar in Killarney Town where you will get the chance to make your own Irish Coffee or an Irish Martini (1hr) (14.30 -15.45)

Following your workshop of choice is a Cycling Tour of Killarney. The Tour will start from Killarney House and you’ll cycle along the National Park Cycle Route viewing the Town Centre, Muckross House & Gardens and Muckross Abbey. (90mins) (10.45 – 12.30)

Next is a light lunch in Killarney town. Lunch is self hosted. (1hr) (12.30 – 13.30)

After lunch is a choice of an “Instagram Walk” of Killarney Town or the chance to learn a traditonal Irish Dance in the Cultral Centre in Killarney Town. (both 1hr) (13.30 – 14.30)

Our day ends in O’Donoghues Bar in Killarney Town were you will get the chance to make your own Irish Coffee or an Irish Martini (1hr) (14.30 – 15.45)
