3:00 PM (3 Hours) Gràcia and the Spirit of Catalan Independence September 2014 marked the 300th year anniversary of the loss of independence of the region of Catalonia to Spain. With this important date in mind, the Catalans held a referendum late in the year on regaining their autonomy. This walk, taking place in the highly Catalan neighborhood of Gràcia, aims to provide an introduction to the special attributes of Catalan culture and history in addition to giving us a better understand of what it means to be Catalan, how Catalans feel different from Spaniards and why they might want to separate.Degree of fitness required: Low

BOATING

Thursday 30th April and Sunday 3rd May

Setting off from Blanes Port, we’ll enjoy a leisurely cruise around some idyllic coves, sailing close to the cliffs and sea caves of the beautiful and wild Costa Brava. Relaxing in the solarium at the bow of the boat, you can explore and savour our coast from a different perspective as the captain takes you on this extraordinary and exclusive cruise, sailing past Cala Morisca, Porto Pi, Cala Llevado and the cliffs of Tossa de Mar with its ancient walls and castle, exploring caves and dropping anchor wherever you like in order to take a dip.
